Tryouts are held in the spring for students in grades 9-12 interested in becoming a cheerleader for football or basketball. Selection is based on tryout performance, appearance, voice and coordination All cheerleaders are bound to academic eligibility requirements of the Ohio High School Athletic Association and the PCLS District. Responsibilities include promoting spirit, leading cheers at games, assisting with pep rallies, decorating and fundraising. Attendance at all practices, games, summer camps and fundraisers is required.
